After winning the Bronze Medal at the World Curling Championship in Basel, Team Edin was invited to play the Grand Slam Event at Summerside PEI and couldn't therefore play at the European Masters at St. Gallen.
The team played with the Canadian James Grattan on third position, while Sebastian Kraupp was playing Skip, because of the injury of Niklas Edin.
Only 8 Teams were playing this Event for a total prizemoney of CAD $100'000. Kraupp's Team won only one game, but against World Champion Glen Howard.
Team Edin added CAD $2'000 to their CCT money list and won the Curling Champions Tour 2011/2012 with an impressive total prizemoney of CAD $56'981.
