The ROGERS Masters of Curling ends with very good rankings of two european women's teams and no playoff qualification for the european men.
Silvana Tirinzoni from Switzerland and Eve Muirhead from Scotland reached the semis at the ROGERS Masters, but were stopped in their games from the canadian teams.
Tirinzoni's opponent Chelsea Carey managed to steal twice a deuce in end five and six which decided the game with a score at the end of 3:7 .
The second semi-final with Eve Muirhead against Rachel Homan was a close affair till the last end when Rachel Homan scored 3 points which she needed to win the game with a score of 5:4.

The Event was played with a main tournament with round robin pools in which the best teams played for six playoff spots. The other two spots were filled with the qualifiers from a triple-knock-out two-tier tournament.
In the men's event, no european team qualified for the playoffs. The title was won by Kevin Koe, the most consistent team in the World Curling Tour this season so far.
